Once we had the topo map, the basic room requirements and a loose floor plan, Steve was able to input this information into his computer to generate 3D models and then use these models and renderings to communicate his ideas to us very clearly. As you can see these renderings very accurately show the position of the house on our land and make it very easy for us to get the feeling of the design.

Working this way we were able to try out variations on different rooms, entry ways, rooflines, etc. Because we agreed that we weren’t in a hurry The Kim and I had plenty of time to take in the design…and “live in it” for a while before signing off on it or making some suggestions.

Below is a fairly accurate representation of the current state of the design…with the bottom six renderings more accurately showing the master bedroom.
